Cleve House School: Video Project

Established in 1937, Cleve House is a co-educational independent school and pre-school for two to 11-year-olds, situated on Bristol’s Wells Road.

The school asked Empica to produce a video that would showcase the school, capturing the essence of its nurturing, hard-working approach.

What we did

Our video team liaised closely with Cleve’s headteacher Clare Fraser, carrying out an initial information-gathering visit. They then spent a day at the school filming the video, which is set against a narrative backdrop of various pupils reading a poem.

Outcomes

The five-minute video is on the home page of the Cleve House website and it was promoted extensively on the school’s social media channels, as well as individually by staff and parents.

Mrs. Fraser said: “The Empica team were professional, courteous and helpful and they worked brilliantly with the children. They paid meticulous attention to safeguarding issues and showed initiative throughout the process. I liked the way the video uses different camera angles and the way it is ‘stitched together.’

“The video really captured the essence of what our school is about – a nurturing, happy and hard-working environment. We couldn’t have been more delighted and the feedback from pupils, staff and parents was overwhelmingly positive.”
