The health and social care sector
We are all too aware of the immense challenges facing the health and social care sector. We have worked closely with paramedics, healthcare providers, residential care and nursing homes, domiciliary care agencies and health-based charities, to shine a spotlight on the work that they do, the issues they want to lobby on, the vital roles they play and the services they offer.
We have provided PR support to publicly-funded organisations and privately-owned businesses, from small independents to large multi-nationals in different ways, depending on their needs and objectives. For example – we’ve been tasked with helping to:
Attract more service users to a nationwide chain of private care homes.
Showcase a newly-built care home and position it as the most desirable facility in the area
Communicate a major organisational restructuring to staff and other stakeholders
Deal with negative media interest in relation to the findings of CQC reports
Generate a regular stream of good new stories and foster great community relations
Undertake an engagement survey and formulate plans to deal with the actions arising
Launch an awareness day to foster pride in the profession at a time of low morale and staffing challenges linked to poor mental health and public perceptions
Recruit volunteers
Co-ordinate international co-operation between care providers
Our activities usually include:
Dealing with the media, whether that’s proactively coming up with positive news stories, feature articles and comment pieces, or press statements in relation to a particular incident
Creating content for social media, blogs, newsletters and websites
Producing promotional videos
Internal communications
