Lights, Camera, Action! at Cleve House School & Little Cleve Nursery

Empica’s videographer George Watts has been working with a new client recently – Bristol independent school Cleve House and Little Cleve Nursery.

The school, which is based on Wells Road in Knowle and takes children aged from two-11, asked George to try to capture its unique atmosphere in just two minutes.

And as you’ll see below, we think he succeeded!

The video features a range of classroom and outdoor activities and was structured around the school’s poem, which formed the background narrative with eight pupils of various ages reading sections of verse. Very little of the content had to be choreographed and there was a cameo role for Rufus, Cleve House’s resident Cavalier King Charles spaniel.

Cleve House’s deputy head Clare Fraser was delighted with the results.

“George’s video has really captured the essence of our school in just over two minutes. It really feels like you are in there learning with the children. I love the happiness that radiates from the children’s faces.”

Since the original filming day George has been back to Cleve House to capture this year’s summer production of “The Pied Piper of Hamelin.”
