Empica team gets busy for Colliers TRYathlon

The Empica team has been busy working on the TRYAthlon 2019 project with our client, global real estate advisor Colliers International.

Each year the event sees professionals and their families from across the UK take on a 400m indoor swim, 16km cycle and 5km run.

The Colliers Bristol TRYAthlon 2019 takes place at Tockington Manor School on Friday, May 31, with all proceeds going to the Malcolm Gunter Foundation www.malcfoundation.co.uk.

A popular and well respected figure in Bristol’s property scene for many years, Malcolm worked for firms including Chesterton and Williams Gunter Hardwick, of which he was a co-founder. He was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in 2017 and passed away last year.

Former friends and colleagues then set up the Malcolm Gunter Foundation (www.malcfoundation.co.ukto support Malcolm’s family and others in their situation, and fund further research into the disease.

Here are at Empica we are doing our best to ensure that this year’s TRYAthlon – the seventh - is a success.

Our videographer George Watts has created a pre-event video and will be attending on the day to produce a post-event piece. Meanwhile client director Neil Fraser is writing social media content, blogs and press releases to spread the word - and our photographer Neil Phillips will be capturing images on the day.

Anyone over 16 can sign up for this year’s TRYAthlon. It costs £90 to enter a relay team of three or £40 as an individual. To register please visit www.k2sports-uk.com/events-competition.
