COLOURFUL MEDIA COVERAGE

Our first big news story of 2019 for client the New Room, aka John Wesley’s Chapel in Bristol was the installation of their specially-commissioned stained glass window and it has attracted coverage across the whole range of print and broadcast media.

Bulletins on BBC One’s ‘Breakfast’ on the day it was installed shared the story with viewers across the region. We also attracted the attention of the radio, so later in the week Nicki spent an interesting afternoon in front of the new window, alongside artist Andrew Taylor, historian Gary Best and education officer Mandy Briggs while they were interviewed by reporter Bob Taylor for Radio 4’s ‘Sunday’ programme. That feature was aired nationwide on the morning of Sunday 13 January and is available here https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0002033  starting at 22:00.

Meanwhile BBC Radio Bristol broadcast an alternative interview by Jonathan Ray on the same subject with director David Worthington (BBC Radio Bristol Sunday Breakfast) https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p06vxvw3  from 1:22:14.

Print coverage has already covered a broad spectrum of our client’s target media, including a pictorial in The Times, a great piece in Christian Today, a post on the BBC news website, a double page spread in the Bristol Post and a post on the Bristol Shopping Quarter website. And there’s more promised in Church Times and ArtServe Magazine.
