Empica recently supported client Jessie May with an integrated PR and social campaign which helped the charity secure a £50,000 grant from the People’s Projects.
During a two-week public voting period we rolled out a campaign to encourage people to vote for Jessie May’s ‘Hidden from view but not forgotten’ project, which aims to support the siblings of children with terminal illnesses in the region.
During this time Empica achieved a host of print, online and broadcast coverage and carried out a successful social media drive which saw celebrities including Nick Knowles, Alex Lovell, Claudia Fragapane and The Stig retweeting and lending their support.
Jessie May was delighted to win the grant which will be used to further support siblings who act as young carers to their poorly brothers and sisters, with respite breaks and bereavement support.
