New Ops Director hails Bristol’s “irresistible” digital media sector

Bristol-based Mentor Communications Consultancy has appointed Toby Coulsting to the new post of Operations Director to help manage continued expansion.

Toby, a former pupil of Cotham Grammar School, moves from the City of London employee benefits consultancy and online  benefits provider, Bluefin.  He said: “Bristol’s increasingly powerful influence in digital media made this an irresistible opportunity.

“I worked with Mentor Digital in my previous role to develop an online client management system and became aware of just how much talent there is in the West Country, so it’s great to be back in my home city.”

Mentor, a long-established training business specialising in media skills, set up Mentor Digital to offer web design, software development and digital media production services, four years ago. 

Expansion has meant a move into larger premises in Kingsdown, where Toby Coulsting will take responsibility for project management, HR and financial planning across the company.
